Rachel Schmidt

Rachel Schmidt is an Application Engineer/ ISO 9001 Administrator with the Elwood Corporation’s Fluid Power Division. She attended Michigan Technological University obtaining a bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. She has spent the past 3 years learning about the fluid power industry at Elwood through one of the most niche markets, water hydraulics. Elwood has recently become active in the NFPA and IFPS. She also is an active member of AIST through the Maintenance & Reliability committee and Hydraulics & Lubrications committee. She also was featured recently as a young professional in the AIST monthly magazine. Rachel resides in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
